Rescue Reports
The Team will now publish Rescue Reports annually to track and share the accomplishments of our volunteers over the past year. The report covers call-outs, missions, and community events and outlines the projects, community outreach, and education goals. Our goal is to inform and educate readers by sharing valuable "lessons learned" to help them prepare for their own adventures in Santa Barbara County. The 2022 Rescue Report is our first annual report.

The 2022 End-of-Year Review + Rescue Report is now available and includes:
Incident summaries from the twelve-month period between January 1st through December 31st, 2022. It also includes graphs that summarize backcountry incident trends in 2022.
Breakdown of incidents by numerous metrics (including the day of the week, month, activity, etc).
